FPSC or Federal Public Service Commission is a constitutional body which is responsible for the recruitment of civil servants and bureaucrats in the Federal Government of Pakistan.

The commission is composed of a chairman and 14 members appointed by the President of Pakistan on the advice of the Prime Minister. The Chairman and members of the FPSC serve for a period of four years.

The commission conducts examinations and interviews for appointments to the posts under the Federal Government. The commission is also responsible for transfer, posting, promotion and dismissal of civil servants.

Assistant Private Secretary
